The 2,50,000 sq ft hotel is situated in the heart of the city, that centered as a world tourist spot in south India, in a prime land of 1.68 acres. The construction is completed and made an agreement with one of the major hotel chains in the world to manage the hotel under their brand with a managing fee and profit sharing basis. They started their operations to run the hotel. Its soft opening is done and the hotel is opened for the public. The hotel is having room strength of 212 spread in 16 floors (16+B+G) with facilities of parking in 6 floors. (The room and area matrix is attached)
The alternative for electricity is powered by two 500 KVA Caterpillar make gensets. The hot water system will have 2 components, one with solar panels and the 2nd booster system with diesel-fired boiler. The hotel is equipped with a water treatment plant with filters, chlorination etc. for a capacity of 50,000 liters per day. Rainwater harvesting facility is also used for rectifying any scarcity of water. The water falling on the roof will be taken by drain pipes and let to the main water storage tank of 2 lakhs liters, which is also the tank for external water supply. The hotel has 3 restaurants and a 24 hour coffee shop. It is flourished with 3 bars. The hotel has a large Health Club in the 2nd floor close to the swimming pool. The Swimming Pool is of size 10 mtrs X 18 mtrs and is bigger than that of most 5 Star Hotels. Three separate Banquet Halls of 120 capacity each is in the second floor. A business center and a crew lounge meant for Airline Crew is also built in the hotel. Beauty Parlor in the lobby level is open for out side business as well. Attached to the Health Club and Swimming Pool there would be a game center meant for children. They are asking a price of INR 280 Crs ($ 6.25 Billion).
