Motel Plitvice Maslenica was built in the of the 80’s as part of the National park Plitvica groupation. Once renovated many tourists would once again consider staying at the Motel, which is 75 miles from the lakes on the Adriatic road, a scenic two- to three-hour drive from the Plitvica lakes. The motel once had two restaurants, a pool, sauna and other amenities, offered over 50 rooms, and provided bed and breakfast to tourists and business people alike. Motel Plitvice Maslenica also is also situated approximately half way between the border of Slovenia and the border of Montenegro.

Closeby is the town of Maslenica, a small quiet place, hamlet of the village of Jasenice and a cove at the entrance into the strait of Novsko Zdrilo, a fascinating, deep canyon which connects the Novigrad Sea with the Velebit Channel (Adriatic Sea) and visible from the Motel.

Thanks to the excellent geographical position all National Parks are within easy reach of the motel; Nature park Velebit, the canyon and the mouth of river Zrmanja, the historical town Zadar, which is only 25 km away and the National Park Paklenica only 10 minutes away.
