Local Lodging for an unforgettable Holidays, situated in parish of São Mateus - Pico Island – Azores – Portugal, near of vineyards, in a quiet and safe place, at 200 metres from the Atlantic Ocean and to the saltwater pool, overlooking the mountain of Pico and to the sea, have a room with one double bed and one single bed, living room with two bed sofas, dinner room, kitchenette, bath room with shower, laundry and barbecue, fully furnished for 7 people.
São Mateus is a parish situated in front the Atlantic Ocean, with many vineyards, a litle harbor and a saltwater pool, belongs to the municipality of Madalena, situated in Pico Island and Pico Island have 42km long and 15km wide, with an area of 447 sq. km, Pico is dominated by its volcano (snow capped in winter) at 2351m the highest point in Portugal. The views to and from the volcano are spectacular and its presence seemingly binds together the central islands of Faial, Sao Jorge, Graciosa, Terceira and Pico itself.
Getting there: Fly between Lisbon and Pico Island (2H30 - TAP/SATA), or fly between Lisbon and Faial Island (2H30 - TAP/SATA) and after on ferry boat (30 minutos) to Pico Island, or fly between Lisbon and São Miguel Island (2H20 - TAP/SATA) and after fly (SATA) to Pico Island (30 minutos) or fly between Boston and São Miguel Island (4H30 – TAP/SATA) and after fly to Pico Island (30 minutos – SATA).
Conditions: Booking of 50% by bank transfer and 50% on the first day of arrival. From 45 euros/night for 3 persons - Low Season (01Jan at 30Apr and 01Oct at 31Dec) and from 60 euros/night for 3 persons - High Season (01May at 30Sep), can accommodate 7 people.
Discount for families/childs and in tourist activities (whale and dolphins watching, swim with dolphins, film and photograph whales and dolphins, scuba diving, fishing, spearfishing and Pico mountain climbing), with our partner licenced for this purpose.
