This 3 storey fully furnished and well equipped expat house in Basundhara, Kathmandu is located close to ring road but still surprisingly peaceful. It's not far from the American and Pakistani Embassy. All importent NGO's on the north side of Kathmandu are easily reached.
The houses is 2300 sqft big.
You enter the house through a spacious entrance with tree sofa's. After following the hallway you get into a big living room with two sofa's a little higher on a platform stands a dining table. From the living room you enter the modern kitchen with fridge, microwave, chimney and stove.
Upstairs are 2 bedrooms and a study / working room that includes a scanner / fax / printer machine. A beautiful solid working chair and a big desk. The spacious master bedroom has a double bed, an attached bathroom with bathtub and some cupboards including a dressing mirror.
The second floor includes an open area where you can drink a cup of tea and read a book.
On the third floor is a storage room and the entrance to the big roof top that has sun all day. There is a small solar panel that feeds a few bulbs and the internet router.
On the back of the house is an open space of about a football ground big that is used for agriculture. (Not part of the house but ads to the peaceful environment. The front of the house has a small garden and a place to park a car / motorbike. There is big gate in front of the house for privacy.
