This studio apartment is on the ground floor with room in the front to place a table and chair in the shade of the palm trees and tropical plants that abound in this Sosua condo complex. To the right of the entrance is the double bed beneath the window so there is plenty of light. In the far corner is the kitchenette where you can prepare your meals and eat at the breakfast bar on which sits the television so you can catch up with the day’s news and sports programmes provided by the cable company. Internet is also available so you can work at the table and chairs on the left side of the room or sit beside the large swimming pool. The shower and toilet is at the end of the room alongside a small storage room.
The complex boasts a large club house where you could entertain many guests and arrange with the management that are on site to have a party and/or barbecue. There are plenty of spaces around the pool where you can peacefully sun bathe and top up your sun tan. Alternatively, you can walk into town and have an American breakfast at one of the many bars where you can talk to people from your own country as Sosua has a large international population. You can then choose one of four beaches to lie on and to swim or snorkel to the nearby reefs. For the more energetic you can catch a local gua gua (people carrier) at the end of the road close to the complex and travel to Cabarete for less than 60 cents and try one of the many outdoor activities in the town. On a night you are spoilt for choice as there are many restaurants, night clubs, bars, and casino that you can walk to and stay out all night if you have the stamina.
The studio is currently part of the rental pool managed by a full time renter who lives in the complex so she oversees the property to ensure it is looked after. The studio is popular with both long term and short term renters.
