Hibiscus Cottage is located on Tekun site, just 40 paces from the beach. The complex is located on a small hillside that slopes down to the sea, and the house sits at sea level. There is a car park and Security on site throughout the day and night. The houses on the site were originally built as Turkish summer houses with outdoor kitchens, and they retain their character with picturesque shutters and beautiful gardens. The complex has no through traffic, and there are no roads to cross between the house and the beach.
The house features two bedrooms, a lounge and dining area, a fully furnished kitchen and bathroom. There is a roof terrace with sea views, a second terrace, and a patio area leading from the kitchen. There is also a small garden to the front of the house. The cottage has satellite TV, and a combined DVD and CD player, together with a selection of books. There is an open wood fire and heating making it a cosy house for winter holidays. There is an indoor dining area as well as table and chairs outside.
The kitchen is fully equipped with gas oven/hob, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, crockery and utensils. The bathroom features a corner bath, shower, toilet and sink.
The main bedroom has a balcony, two beds, a ceiling fan, a wardrobe and bedside tables. The second bedroom has one single bed and a set of drawers. The lounge can be converted to be a third bedroom with a double sofa bed. curtains to separate from the living area.
There are shops close by for basic necessities including milk, fresh bread, cheeses and wine and fresh bread can be bought on the complex. There is a playground with swings and a slide and a large grassy area on the complex, great for children. There is an outdoor shower to rinse off from the beach.
There is a great value beach restaurant close to the house, and many others along the beach and promenade. There is also a juice bar on the beach which serves delicious fruit cocktails. You do not have to go far to find good food, in fact there’s little need to cook at all! However, if you wish to cook, there is a local market of fresh food in nearby Manavgat, as well as two large supermarkets.
