The extensive restoration has included the following improvements such as: virtually a complete rewire and renewal of plumbing and gas central heating systems (three separate boilers in fact so that parts of the house can be fully regulated), damp courses, re-rendered walls internal and external as and where deemed necessary, the roof space insulated. New double glazed windows and doors were fitted where required and suitable wiring is in place throughout the main house should you require a video/security system to be fitted.The surgery wing, which also received the attention lavished on the main building has now been sympathetically converted into a two bedroom annexe which subject to any relevant permissionscould be used as rented accommodation, holiday let or Bed & Breakfast. It also retains many of its original features such as the very unusual slab marble terrazzo floor, original fireplaces and wooden wall panelling in the hall and bedrooms.
