A brick house, standing at the Vilnius street facade, was built in the XVII century, between 1608 – 1690. The residential house was damaged in 1655 during the War and in 1732, by a city fire. In 1870 the brick building stood dilapidated. In 1846 the brick, two-storey house, located on the streets of Vilnius is restored. There are three cellars under this building – two of them are arched and the third one has a ceiling. The entrance is through the gates of Vilnius street, where shops are installed on the first floor, and apartments on the second. In 1903 the brick, two-storey house with a penthouse floor had two shops, a bakery and a pharmacy on the first floor, and 12 apartments on the 2nd floor. In 1922 a penthouse was built on the west wing. In 1933 showcases are made in the west part of the building near Vilnius street.
