It is situated on a ridge, a double lot with long views of the sea with abundant parking.
This house has been carefully restored. Up to now, it has been a residency to over 40 artists who at times have left a piece of their work in tiled walls, iron works, and mosaic pieces, adding to the charm of the house.
This quiet haven is about 18 miles west of Lisbon and its environs. The coast and many other points of interest are easily reached by local transportation or rental car. Shopping can be done in the larger city of Sintra about 5 miles away or at the nearby villages of Almocageme and Colares. There is a wonderful fruit and vegetable market, along the main road a few minutes from the house, on weekends and holidays. They also have flowers, sausage, bread and cheese. Email for more photos.
