"Villa Sofia" is a 2-storey vacation house, in front of the sea, just on the sandy Ionian coast, in Kanali village, about 12 klm North of the City of Preveza, on the North-West Greek coast.
It is a favorite family vacation home of an architect and a decorator from Ioannina, who spend their summers in this, the last 15 years, and offer hospitality for 2-3 weeks every year, when they move to the mountains.
It is maintained by care and personal work of the owners
The house stays in the midle off a wonderful garden of 1500 square meters, with a small melon field which supply the family and guests with herbs and salads of the season.
Upstairs is the main bedroom, a bathroom and an assisting open loft with a double bed .
Living room, (with double sofa-bed), kitchen and a small WC are downstairs.
Courtyards with plant-cover shadow sittings and covered area for rainy days. Front and back gardens with grass and trees offering lot of shadow corners
Housekeeping-linen once a week / Garden cleaning once a week
At wolking distance some nice small tavernas and 'cafe' in the beach front, a village with market place, and a water-park very joyful for the kids (at 5 min walk)
"Villa Sofia" can be a point of reference for your holidays and private travels, for the wide range of day-trip destinations within easy reach, such as the wonderful island of Lefkas (easy access by driving via a tunnel under the sea), Giannena and Dodoni ancient theater, the ancient city of Nicopolis (many festivities take place during summer there), the springs of Acheron, Parga and Zagori villages.
