In addition to the above, Handloom and Handicraft Festival, Aadi Mahotsav and with the support and cooperation of various central ministries, state Government & engaged to promote the artisans from various states will be sought for organizing periodically such festivals so that the products could reach out to a large number of people in India.
Ship Haat will serve as a regular venue for Shilp Utsav and other events besides being a one-stop hub for the promotion of artisans from across the country to display and sell their products directly to the consumers. Shilp Haat will act as a 'Hunar hub' – for master craftsman & Artisans, a prototype model to be replicated in other states which would encourage their local arts and crafts.
