Invest in a teak plantation in Togo and benefit from the booming market demand for Teak. German managed company looks for investors.. With an investment of 15.000 Euro you become shareholder of a registered Togolese S.A.R.L. and become also an ower of one hectare land - including all legal papers like a valid land title. For the project we want to gain capital to build up a plantation of minimum 50 hectares.
The operation and management of the plantation will be done by a second company that rents the land from the owners. Any other following costs will be paid by the plantation operator. Means: you only invest once. As shareholder and land owner you will get a share of 50 percent on ever timber sales during the operation. A total harvest of minimum 350 cubic meter Teak will be expected. Based on the actual world market price of 500 USD per cubic meter the investors can expect a profit of 87.500 Dollars (50 percent of 175.000 USD) per hectar land. These figures are quite conservative, since they are based on the sale of logs at today’s prices. They do not reflect the appreciation in land value and the almost certain increase in the sale price of teak over time.
We will use within the project a new organic fertilizer which is a unique combination of a plant-organic fertilizer and highly effective mycorrhizal fungi. It doubles to 3folds the growth of plants in the same time period,
in relationship with best wood quality and excellent root growth. It will at least doubling the yield. This allows us to harvet after 12 years!
The investors will remain land owners after the harvest is done. You can decide if you want to sell the plot or hold it for a second growth of Teak.
