An Edmonton Property Management Company is seeking to hire a mature individual with experience in sales to manage its vacancies. The successful candidate will be self motivated; able to work independently in a team environment; must possess a valid driver’s license; own a reliable vehicle and have a good knowledge of the city of Edmonton and area. The successful candidate must be willing and able to work flexible hours as some evening and weekend hours will be required. The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of computers. This individual will be required to answer phone calls and e-mails from prospective tenants; book, confirm and carry out showings of rentals; book and carry out move in and move out inspections, and prepare and sign leases with successful prospects. Collection of rents, and security deposits and issuing of receipts for same will also be required. This individual will also keep property descriptions up to date through narrative descriptions as well as through digital pictures of the rentals. The posting and removing of signs for rentals; issuing of work orders; conducting reference checks will also be part of the responsibility of this position.
