The trip lasts 2 hours by conventional boat and 1 hour by the high-speed one. One can also reach the island by cruiser or sail-boat, as there exists a modern marina at Batsi, as well as at Gavrion and Hora. There is ferry connection to the islands of Tinos and Mykonos, and other islands of the Cyclades.The distance of Rafina to the centre of Athens is about 30 km and to the E. Venizelos international airport is about 10 km.
