Description: • Translate articles and press releases from Simplified Chinese to English (and vice-versa), and adapt the translations using journalistic skills. • Take responsibility for editorial planning, article writing and proofreading for the Client's China and Taiwan staff magazines, and work with the design team on layout. • Maintain the Client's social media websites in Simplified and Traditional Chinese. • Regularly contribute English articles to the Client's corporate website. Qualifications: • Strong journalistic writing skills in Simplified/Traditional Chinese and English. • Strong translation skills from Simplified/Traditional Chinese to English, and vice-versa. • Ability to learn and use technical automotive terms in English and Chinese. • Strong written and spoken English communication skills. • Ability to adapt to a corporate, international work environment. Minimum of 3 years experience in a journalism or writing/translating role. Native Chinese speakers only.
