Uttarakhand is a most beautiful state popularly known as the “Dev Bhoomi”. The most religious Chardham are situated in the uttarakhand state. Chardham referred as the most famous pilgrim destinations which includes four holy shrines of hindus are Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. All the holy shrines situated in the Garwhal region in North India. It is surrounding by the majestic himalayan range with charming views of snow capped peaks and beautiful natural beauty. Thousands of the pilgrims take part in the yatra every year from all around the India and the other different parts of the world. The Yatra starts from Yamunotri, it is the first stopover of yatra and then proceed to Gangotri, Kedarnath and finally Badrinath. Amongst the four Chardham Yamunotri is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna, she is daughter of God Sun. Yamunotri is offered the 6 km trekking route which attract the tourists and the temple was built by the king of Tehri Garhwal. It is believed that water of the Yamuna River protect the devotees from painful and untimely death. The second Dham is Gangotri, dedicated to Goddess Ganga. It is believed that King Bagirathi was impressed Goddess Ganga to came down to the earth.
