Electromagnetic Induction: Current is that it creates its own magnetic field. Whenever there is relative motion between a conductor and a magnetic field, the flux linkage with coil changes and this change in flux induces a voltage across a coil. Whenever the number it of magnetic lines of forces in circuit changes, an EMF is produced in the circuit and is known as induced EMF and this phenomenon is known as Electro-Magnetic Induction. Electromagnetic induction is procedure of production of electric current in a coil when the magnetic flux linked with the coil is turned. "A voltage is induced in a circuit whenever relative motion exists between a conductor and a magnetic field and that the magnitude of this voltage is proportional to the rate of change of the flux”
