I would like to change my North Swedish timber for a closer free time house in Europe (the condition is not relevant. I am an engineer) My timber house built in Bygdsiljum in 1937, as a post office on a cca. 1500m2 plot, in the very middle of the village. Now that is a renovating object. (olive green house in the middle left on the picture)The number of the inhabitant is 350 persons, the average is 47 years. There is a very big wood factory with 3000 employis and a couple of smaller firms too. Nursery school, 4 classes of the elementary school. Secondary school 20 km from here. Universities are in Umea and in Skelleftea. In winter there is a 7 traks ski slalom and the snowmobiling around the forest. In summer there is a lake for boating. Restaurant, evangelic church, food store, river, lake, forest, berries, birch, pine, reindeer, moose. The area is amazing. The property is on the very special place, because there is no any hotel, nor worker accomodation in the village. The land is able to build one. Carpenters are avalilable in place or by the workaway network.
